Article 113

Final Provisions

1. Paragraph 8 of Article 2 of Law 4388/2016 (A’93), concerning the Electronic Road Infrastructure Management System, the Road Toll Service, and the Electronic Road Infrastructure Management Service, is hereby repealed. Any reference to that paragraph shall be construed as a reference to paragraph 9 of Article 55 of this Law.

2. When preparing, in accordance with Article 185 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (Law 4620/2019, A’ 96), the list of expert witnesses—including those dealing with matters related to traffic accidents—shall include individuals who have technical and scientific training or experience in traffic matters—preferably civil servants or retirees—nominated by the Ministry of Citizen Protection, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, the Technical Chamber of Greece, and the legal entity representing the International Automobile Federation in Greece.

3. References to the Highway Code (Law No. 2696/1999, A’57) shall be construed, following the entry into force of this Act, as references to the corresponding articles of this Act.
