Registration of Vehicles Abroad – Registration of Foreign Vehicles

1. Motor vehicles and trailers that have been registered in the country are not permitted to leave its borders unless they are equipped with the certificates and other documents specified by the relevant international conventions and regulations, as well as with the international distinguishing mark for Greek motor vehicles. Foreign vehicles are prohibited from entering and operating in the country unless they bear the registration plate of the country in which they are registered.

2. Vehicles and their trailers that are registered in the country are prohibited from displaying the international registration mark of a foreign country.

3. A violation of paragraph 2 is classified as Category E1-A.
