Change to Marketing Authorization Details

1. When there is a change in the owner of a motor vehicle and when there is a change in the principal identifying details listed on the registration certificate, where such changes are permitted, a new registration certificate must be issued, following verification of the new details, by the authorities responsible for issuing registration certificates in each case.

2. If a competent authority determines that paragraph 1 has not been complied with, within the time limit specified in the decision under c) of paragraph 27 of Article 112, the vehicle’s registration certificate and license plates shall be revoked; these shall be returned upon the issuance of a new registration certificate, in accordance with paragraph 1.

3. This violation is classified as Category E3-B. For violations of this nature involving trucks, the special provisions of Law 3446/2006 (A’49) apply.
