Article 91

General Vehicle Inventory and Classification

1. No motor vehicle or trailer may be driven anywhere in the country, unless it has been registered and classified in accordance with the general vehicle registration and classification regulations in effect at the time.

2. The offense committed by a person operating a motor vehicle that has not been legally registered and licensed is classified as Category E3-B, and the vehicle’s registration documents are returned after it has been registered. For the relevant violation concerning trucks, Law 3446/2006 (A’ 49), on the organization and operation of vehicle traffic control authorities, applies. Article 50, concerning the immobilization of vehicles, may also apply in this case.
