Construction Equipment Lights

1. The provisions of this Chapter concerning the lighting and general visual signaling systems of vehicles apply mutatis mutandis to construction machinery and to trailers towed by such machinery, if they obscure the taillights of the towing vehicle.

Snowplows are also equipped with yellow lights.

2. Construction vehicles may be equipped with special headlights, which may be used only while performing construction work; their use is prohibited while the vehicles are traveling on public roads.

3. Violations committed by a person who puts into circulation, as well as by a person who drives, a vehicle described above that is not equipped with the required lighting system operating in accordance with the provisions of this article, as well as those who violate paragraph 2 of this article, are classified in category E2-B.
