Lights for Agricultural Machinery
1. The provisions of this Chapter concerning the lighting and general visual signaling systems of vehicles apply mutatis mutandis to self-propelled agricultural machinery and to the trailers towed by them, provided that they obscure the rear lights of the towing vehicle. In particular, in the case of single-axle agricultural tractor-trailer combinations, where the actual engine power at the axle does not exceed seven (7) horsepower, when towing a trailer, the provisions of this Chapter for two-wheeled motorcycles, with or without a sidecar, shall apply.
If the actual engine power at the axle exceeds (7) horsepower, the provisions of this Chapter regarding three-wheeled motorcycles shall apply.
2. Agricultural machinery may be equipped with a special headlight, which may be used only while performing agricultural work; its use is prohibited while the machinery is being driven on public roads.
3. Violations committed by a person who puts into service, as well as by a person who drives, any of the above-mentioned vehicles that is not equipped with the required lighting system, which operates in accordance with the provisions of this article, as well as those who violate paragraph 2 of this article, are classified in category E2-B.
