Turn signal lights (blinkers) and hazard lights

1. Automobiles, three-wheeled vehicles, motorcycles, mopeds, and trailers must be equipped with an even number of fixed turn signals with flashing yellow lights, visible to road users both day and night. The frequency at which the light flashes is ninety (90) pulses per minute, with a tolerance of plus or minus thirty (30) pulses. The side marker lights may flash simultaneously with the lights described herein.

2. Motor vehicles and trailers must be equipped with a device that allows the turn signals (hazard lights) to operate simultaneously.

3. Violations committed by a person who puts into service, as well as by a person who drives, a vehicle referred to in paragraphs 1 and 2 and which is not equipped with the required turn signals that operate in accordance with this article, are classified in category E2-A.
