Rail vehicles that run on rails

1. Where rail vehicles operate on roadways, road users must keep the tracks clear when such vehicles are approaching, to allow them to pass.

2. Moving rail vehicles or those at a stop must be passed on the right. If this is impossible due to lack of space, passing or overtaking may also be done from the left, provided that it does not pose a danger or cause difficulties for oncoming traffic. On one-way streets, rail vehicles may also be passed on the left if traffic conditions permit.

3. Violations of this provision are classified under Category E2-B and Category S.
