Article 54

Presumption of Fault

A third party who has suffered damage caused by a motor vehicle being driven in accordance with traffic regulations is presumed to be at fault if, at the time the damage occurred, that party violated those regulations. In all other cases, Law No. ΓϡΝ/1911 (A’ 332) on criminal and civil liability arising from motor vehicles applies.
